Well we made it! Another winter is in the books and even if there is maybe a bit of snow still on the ground, it won’t be long before the Tulips and Daffodils are blooming.
Time to shake off those winter blues, shed that winter coat and start dancing to the rites of spring!

Lets get this started with the song that was being played when the title photo for this month’s cart was taken.
It was a couple of month’s later than scheduled and on a Friday Night instead of a Sunday. Better late than never and always fun to be dancing under the Strobe lights at Hunter’s.

The following fact even surprised myself. While on vacation, one night actually waited until 10:35 pm to head out for the evening. Maybe didn’t stay out a super long time, however did survive being out for a couple of hours. Maybe I am not as old as I think I am.

Panama- Destroyer
Slow things down a bit. This song was discovered by me while wandering the aisles of a Home Goods or Publix store. Can’t remember which, that doesn’t matter because this song made me stop in my tracks and just listen.

LODATO & Bright Sparks - Good Thing
If you know me, you know a pet peeve of mine is when a restaurant or bar plays a show or sports on the big TV screens with volume off and pumps music that doesn’t match what is on the TV. What is the point? If you are playing music be sure to have the videos match the music or if you are showing a show or sports, then play that over the sound system.
You can tell I am annoyed a lot because no restaurant or bar ever does this. Imagine my surprise when of all establishments, City Furniture in Fort Lauderdale plays videos on the display screens around the store that matched the songs being played overhead. It was and OMG moment. It is possible! This is one of the songs being played and shown around the store.
All bars and restaurants are on notice. If a furniture can do this, there is no longer any excuse for you not to be playing songs videos that match the music that is being played.
Whew~ my mid list rant is is over. :-)

Senor Coconut - Sweet Dreams
On the topic of restaurants. When in Southern Florida always on a the quest for the the perfect Cuban Sandwich. While I know where the perfect Cuban Sandwich can be found, that is at Sandy’s Cafe in Key West. I continue my quest for a good second place sandwich. Heard this version of Sweet Dreams while enjoying a pretty good contender for second best Cuban Sandwich of Florida.

You know you are at the Miami location of Crate and Barrel when this is the song they are pumping quite loud through the store. You have to love Miami.

Not sure where I discovered this song. Another one of those moments when I pulled out the phone did a quick “Shazam” and later looked it up for a listen.
In the future I might also need to add more than a mental note to better recall what was happening when a song catches my attention

There was no debate on what the number one song for this month’s list would be.
In the last month this song has been played while driving many, many times. No more perfect lyrics have been sung in a long time.

That has been me all my life. :-)
